Detects the current global market regime from combined crisis signals, sentiment, and capital flows
The market is almost always in one of five regimes: risk-on (money flowing into risk assets), risk-off (flight to safety), rotation (money moving between risk pairs without net risk change), dislocation (correlations break, individual assets trade on their own story), and mixed (the signal isn't clean enough to call). The label at the top is this page's call based on cross-asset correlation, flow direction, and safe-haven demand, with a confidence score attached.
How to read it. Regimes persist longer than most people expect - the same regime often runs for weeks or months. What's actionable is not the label itself but the transition: the moment the classifier flips from risk-on to risk-off, or from rotation to dislocation, is where real reallocation decisions live. Watch the confidence bar - a 40% confidence risk-off is a warning that we're in transition, not that we're firmly in risk-off.
Limitations. Regime classification is a lossy compression of a multi-asset reality. During true systemic events all five labels under-describe what's happening. Use this as a top-line frame, then drop into the contagion and flows pages for the texture underneath it.
