Headlines filtered to what actually moves the dial

This page is a working news feed - not an archive. We pull crisis-relevant financial headlines from multiple sources, deduplicate across wires, and keep the items that move or could plausibly move the dashboard's signal state. Each item is tied to a region when possible and tagged with the relevant signal category (banking, credit, policy, geopolitical, etc.).

How to read it. Headlines are noisy, but the flow of headlines is signal. Watch for sudden acceleration in news density for a specific region, or for a single story repeating across many unrelated sources - both are patterns that historically precede market reaction. If the News page is quiet while the scoring dashboard is escalating, that means markets are pricing something before the narrative catches up; if News is loud and scores are quiet, that's the counter-narrative situation worth checking.

Limitations. Coverage skews English-language and US-centric. Non-English regional events are under-weighted by construction. Headlines can be recycled or re-edited by aggregators - we don't score a story twice, but the system is imperfect. Treat this as a supplement to the Intelligence page (structured event coding via GDELT), not a replacement for it.
