Contagion pathways, leading/lagging indicators, and systemic risk analysis
Where the Contagion page shows the globe view, this page shows the graph view of the same data. Every node is a tracked region and every edge is a rolling correlation. Strong edges are the pathways money actually uses when stress appears. Systemic nodes are regions with unusually many strong edges - they are the regions a shock is most likely to pass through on its way somewhere else.
How to read it. Start with the systemic-regions list: these are the airports of the market graph. If one of them is in crisis, propagation to the rest is faster and more likely. Click any region to isolate its strong connections - that gives you the shortest-path view of where its stress would travel. Contagion pathways below are the specific chains (source -> middle -> target) the engine considers currently plausible given live correlations.
Limitations. Correlations are computed on a rolling window - they drift. The network structure on this page reflects the current window; during regime transitions the graph can look very different from how it looked even a week ago. Treat the systemic-nodes list as a current read, not a structural constant.
